1% of Something- K-Drama review

Rakuten Viki summary: "Annoyed with his grandson’s arrogance, Jae In’s grandfather came up with a plan to humble his haughty grandson and maybe even teach him a lesson. In order to inherit everything his grandfather was going to leave for him, Jae In would have to enter into an engagement contract with Kim Da Hyun, a lovely school teacher with one of the sweetest of personalities in the world."

1% of Something is, in my opinion, a very cute drama. This was my first time seeing both Ha Seok Jin and Jun So Min in action but I have got to say that I am in love with both of their characters. Jun So Min played the role of Kim Da Hyun,

an innocent, caring and directionally challenged school teacher. But she's also strong-willed and cunning and very pretty in her own silly kind of way. I loved seeing her have her way with her male lead counterpart, Lee Jae In, played by Ha Seok Jin. When we are first introduced to Lee Jae In, we are made to believe that he is a really mean, cold-hearted, man that only cares about money. But we quickly learn that that's really not the case. Although being extremely serious about his work and very stubborn is his true nature. We almost instantly see that he's actually a really big softy for children, and he can be very caring and considerate (if he likes you that is lol). He just needed someone to draw that side out of him which the female lead did. Although that part wasn't as hard compared to other dramas with similar plots. I kind of got the expression that the male lead had fallen for the female lead way too quickly. Or maybe they were trying to portray him as a player? Idk but he wasn't a very tough nut to crack. Nonetheless, he was very cute the entire way through, and me fangirling a couple of times over some of his seductive attempts towards his female lead counterpart.

Overall my favorite parts in this drama were watching Lee Jae In's seductive attempts get shutdown by Kim Da Hyun's feisty, strong-willed attitude.
