Hello Everyone today is Day 14 of the 30Day Blog Challenge. Today I'd like to share with you a short dialogue story based on the writing prompt below. I hope you enjoy!
Prompt: Write from the point of view of a branch with a bird perched on it.
“Ay yo bird, what do you think you're doing?” says the branch.
“Tweet tweet?” asks the bird.
“Don’t play dumb with me. Yes, I'm talking to you.”
“Who do you think are, thinking you can just step on me like that?”
“Tweet tweet”
“What do you mean that’s my purpose in life.”
“I beg to differ,”
“Tweet tweet”
“So you saying that I can’t defy that rules of nature?”
“Is that so? Well in that case, what do you think of this? Ay yo, Wind, help me out a bit.”
Suddenly the wind starts to blow harshly at the bird and the bird falls off the branch.
“Tweet tweet, tweet tweet”
The bird tries hard to fly against the wind.
“Haha ‘TWEET TWEET’ little sucker, told ya you couldn’t step on me like I’m just some stick.”
“Tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet”
The bird dodges the wind and flies upward, landing on a branch above the branch he was on before.
“That’s righ---Wait, what?"
The bird lifts his tail feathers and aims at the branch.
"No, No Stop! Don’t you dare!”
The bird poops on the branch.
“Ew that’s disgusting man, come on," the branch says embarrassed as all the other branches laugh.
