Hello Everyone! For Day 19, I'm giving poetry another try, please let me know what you think.

What Truly Matters

How long will it be till we speak again?

How long will it be till we meet again?

Will it be a day or a month?

Will it be weeks or years?

Days, months, weeks and years

They don’t matter

No matter how long

Or how big the gap

No matter the distance

Or how things may change

One thing will always remain

The one thing which lives on in all of us

Untouched by eternity

Are the memories we have created

Memories of the good and the bad

Memories of the happy and the sad

Yes memories

Who know no time nor space

Memories

Who see no class nor race

Memories who pay no mind to the weather

Memories that bind us together

So cherish these memories that we have created

For they are our past

And will be our future

Cherish them with all your might

For they hold lessons to be learned

And cherish them for they are stories to be told

But most importantly

Cherish them because they make you who you are

And that’s what truly matters.
