Hello Everyone! With six more days to go in the 30Day Blog Challenge, I have decided that my next challenge for the coming month is going to be focusing a little more on my appearances and health. Although I'm confident in an awesome personality, I can get pretty insecure about the way I look. Even though I think the ranking system is a little cliche and overrated, for shits and giggles, I'd say that with appearances alone I'm like a 4 out of 10, maybe a 5 on a good day. But then if we add my personality I'm at least an 8 out of 10, and if you count all my talents and skills I'm a 12, lol.
Anyways, it's not like I have low self-esteem because of my appearance but if I'm being honest, it could use a little work. There are two things I mainly want to work on, 1) clean up my face, and 2) lose weight. I did start going to the Gym earlier this year but the quarantine kind of ruined that for me. So until the gym opens up again I guess I'll start with #1.

That's why for the month of May, I want to focus on trying to get rid of my acne scars. And for that, I've started a chemical peel treatment to see if it will do the job. I've heard about chemical peels before and really wanted to try it, but I thought that you can only get them at spas and that it would be really expensive since you have to do a series of treatments. But then I found this pealing serum (picture on right) and it looked interesting. After some research, I found out that AHA and BHA are the same chemicals that most spa chemical peels contain. Plus it was only $10 on Amazon! So I got it, lol.
The steps to this peeling serum treatment are pretty simple, wash your face, apply serum, leave for 5 to 10 minutes rinse with warm water. It seems easy enough, and I hope it works, lol.
Here are some before and after pictures...

Not a big difference right? Well, that's a given, lol. If all my scars were gone after just one use I'd start to believe that witchcraft was real!
Besides the peeling treatment, I also wanted to change my face care routine from trying to get rid of all the oil on my face to trying to hydrate and moisturize my face. Though I'm still figuring the actual routine out. So next time I'll explain in fuller detail what my new face care routine looks like. With that being said, thank you for reading and I'll see y'all next time!
