Day 9- Why Can't I find a Boyfriend

Hey Everyone, Welcome to Day 9 of my 30Day Blog Challenge! So since practically the whole world is in quarantine these days, I've decided to purchase Sims4 to get a little virtual life going since my real one is on pause for the moment. I have seen my friends play Sims get a successful life started in just a few hours of playing the game. I'm talking about a house, spouse, kids everything probably within the first 24 hours. So, I got the game thinking, how hard can it be, right? Well, I guess I have must have a habit of underestimating things, because I've played for almost a whole day now and I CAN'T EVEN FIND A BOYFRIEND!

First, let me explain my character a little bit, her name is Jane Rudd, thick girl, young adult, with light brown skin blue hair and brown eyes. I think she works as a wannabe actor or maybe a stand-up comedian one of the two. She's lazy, flirty, a romantic, and materialistic. On her very first day alive, she burned down the kitchen. So now we're poor too since we had to buy a new kitchen. Also on her first day, she somehow pissed off half of our new neighbors that came to say hi (all girls by the way).

I got a house, that's not an issue as long as Jane's doesn't burn it down again. I made friends with some neighbors, the half that Jane didn't completely piss off, so I have a bit of a social life, I guess. But all the boys in the game are either elders, kids or married adults! I had found one guy that was a young adult and I tried talking to him, thinking it was going to work, Jane was feeling flirty, and the guy was feeling flirty, but somehow, by the end of their interactions Jane came out SO mad, she had to take an angry poop to feel better.

I don't know what to do anymore. At this point, I'm thinking of either turning Jane into a lesbian and start hitting on chicks or possibly hit on one of these old men that keep walking past our front door and get him to be our sugar daddy. Which do you think would be better?

Funny tidbit: My brother walked in while I was playing and I told him about not being able to find a boyfriend for my Sim and he said, "Ha, guess your virtual life isn't much different from your real one."

I was low-key a little hurt, but his joke was good I had to give him props for it.
