Day 6- Cinderella and Four Knights

Happy Good Friday Everyone! Day 6 is here for my 30Day Blog Challenge and I'd like to share a K-Drama I recently finished. It's called "Cinderella and Four Knights". As you might take from the name, this drama is yet another Cinderella story. So obviously poor girl is going to marry rich boy right?
Spoiler Alert: Yes poor girl end up with rich boy. (lol)
But, it wouldn't be a Cinderella story if she hadn't. So, here's the twist! There are FOUR rich boys!!! And Cinderella gets to pick and choose which one she wants! (kinda)
Anyway, I really enjoyed watching it, the actors put so much emotion into it and it even got me tearing up here and there. Although the drama is based on your typical Cinderella story there are several side stories incorporated which just brings all of the characters to life. It makes them feel more round and genuine not just movie stars on a screen but human, like what they're going through could happen to anyone. By the end, you understand why all the characters are the way they are and their reasoning behind it.
Speaking of the ending, usually, I dread watching the end in any show because it often leaves things unanswered or it feels really rushed. But this drama didn't do that. I was very satisfied with this ending, different from the original Cinderella story where only Cinderella gets her happy ending, in "Cinderella and Four Knights", EVERYONE gets a happy ending!! Yes, even the mean stepmother, and stepsister, no one gets left behind in this Happy Ever After.
One thing I had a small issue with about this drama is that the main character, the "Cinderella", played by Park So Dam, was portrayed as a tough tomboy who can even stand up to the boys, which was great I personally like strong female characters. The issue is that as the drama progresses Park So Dam's character loses that strong female characteristic she had in the beginning. She keeps her tomboy personality but we no longer see her standing up for herself.
Other than that I loved every bit of this drama and highly recommend it. It shows the anyone can have a happy ending if only they surround themselves with family and friends and forgive those who have wronged them and live life with no regrets. I'm giving it an 8/10 stars rating on Rakuten Viki. Thank you for reading and I'll see yall next time!
