I Picked Up A Celebrity On The Street

I will not be giving a summary of this K-Drama. The reason being is because I didn't read the summary before watching it. I thought I had gotten the gist of what this drama was going to be about just from the title and the cover photo posted on the right. I thought it was just going to be a short romantic comedy where a normal girl, probably poor, was somehow going to end up living with a handsome male celebrity, with a lot of money. I thought that they would hate each other at first, and ultimately fall in love in the end. A very common pattern in most K-Dramas in this genre. Taking into consideration that the whole drama is roughly 10 hours long, I didn't think they'd have enough time to add anything else or new to the traditional story plot. But because it was a short drama I decided to watch it anyway, despite it seeming very predictable. And boy was I wrong!
The very first episode took me by complete surprise. I literally had to stop and make sure I was watching the correct drama. Like I said earlier, I won't go into the actual happenings of the drama. I want you to be as surprised as I was if you decide to watch it, which I highly recommend. But, I will say that there is something in the shadows of this drama that really keeps you trying to guess what or who (hint, hint ;D ) it is.
The comedy in the drama great all the way through! Even when the characters are thrown into more serious situations, the humor is always there.
These three lovely people above are the main actors in "I Picked Up a Celebrity on the Street" and they all did a fantastic job! I had seen Sung Hoon and Kim Ga Eun in action before, so I knew they were great actors. But according to Rakuten Viki Kim Jong Hoon has only ever stared in this one drama, which is kind of upsetting because after watching "I Picked Up a Celebrity on the Street" I have completely fallen in love with this man (lol). I will now be on a mission to find out more about him.
As a result, I am very pleased to have watched this short and sweet drama and give it 9/10 stars on Rakuten Viki. As always, thank you for reading and hope you decide to give this K-Drama a try and enjoy it as much as I did.
