Hello Everyone, it has been a few days since I published my first post, which was pretty much just a greeting or introduction, so I was really feeling the need to make another post today. Therefore, I have been racking my head all day on what kind of post I want to officially start off on. (I'm trying to start off on the right foot here, lol.) First, I thought I wanted to start off with a Korean Drama review on one of my favorite K-Dramas (which I have a lot, so look forward to them), but that did not feel quite right for the 'official' starting post on this blog. Then I switched over to writing about the first Manga I ever read in the 7th grade that got me hooked on reading manga for the next five to six years, but that didn't feel quite right either. I felt like an "official" start to a blog had to be something natural, rather than forced. After a few hours of stressing myself out, I was just about to give up. It was that "Ugh, I'll do it tomorrow" kind of frustrated feeling (y'all know what I'm talking about). Just then a really interesting song crept its way into my Spotify. It was "So Am I" by Ava Max.
Now, I have heard this song before but never really paid attention to what it was really saying. So, after hearing the song a few times I was really drawn to the lyrics "You're strong and you're weak/You're bound but so free". And that's exactly how I felt. While I was stressing out about what to write, I felt weak and vulnerable and bound down by the fact that if I want my blog to be successful (which I do) I have to keep a consistent flow of posts. But, at the same time, I was also having a hard time deciding what to write about because of the freedom I have to write about anything I want since it's my blog. Its My Blog! I can make my posts as weird or kooky as I want them to be. And like Ava Max who according to her song is a little crazy, dark and twisted, well So Am I (lol).
Thank you, Everyone, for reading and experiencing this journey of Blogging for the first time with me. Thank you, Ava Max, for giving me some confidence through your song, (its a great song, I love it). And I hope you guys continue to visit because more posts will be popping up soon!
Oh, and for those who haven't heard "So Am I" by Ava Max, I have posted the youtube video down below. Listen to it, it's great!
